Sustainable Waste Solutions (SWS) provides a landfill-free alternative for recycling, waste transportation, and disposal to companies of all sizes and across a broad range of industries throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley and Delaware. Using a state-of-the-art Energy-from-Waste resource recovery facility, we generate enough electricity from waste to power tens of thousands of homes per day in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Leadership Team
Randy Hendricks expertise spans more than 25 years in both the public and private sectors of the Energy-from Waste industry. Prior to forming Sustainable Waste Solutions, Randy was Vice-President of Business Development of a U.S. division of Paris-based Veolia Environmental. He is a graduate of Villanova University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Scott Woodrow has over 20 years experience in the waste and resource recovery industries. Prior to joining Sustainable Waste Solutions, Scott served Waste Management, Inc. in a regional capacity for their sales and marketing division. He also worked with Veolia and American Ref-Fuel, (now Covanta Energy), in business development and divisional management capacities. Scott is a graduate of Kutztown University.
Dieter Scheel is a seasoned accounts manager with over 25 years experience in providing transportation, hazardous waste, residual waste, and recycling solutions. He has a depth of experience managing a wide range of customers, from the educational sector to the industrial sector. Dieter also owns Big D RiverGuide and provides full service, year round guided fishing trips on the Delaware River. He received his degree from Bucks County Community College.
Joe Zarabba has a wealth of business experience spanning nearly 20 years, including 11 years in the transportation and waste industries. Joe has served in a wide range of positions from account executive, service center manager to marketing manager and operations manager. He received his B.A. in Industrial Psychology and B.A. in Business Management from Immaculata University.
Jon came to the SWS team with educational experience in Engineering Sciences and over 10 years of working in the food and beverage industry, including seven years acting in a lead management role. His can-do attitude and ability to meet multiple demands in a highly efficient manner, along with exceptionally high customer service standards, have impressed all who have worked with him over the years.
Linda has been with us since the company’s inception back in 2004. And although her official title here is Controller, she’s much more than that. Not only does she handle all of our accounting, she keeps the information systems that are the backbone of our company up-to-date and up-to-speed. And when she’s not crunching numbers, she’s soothing nerves (and tempers) in Customer Service and Human Resources
Nate is the newest member of our business development team here at Sustainable Waste Solutions. Utilizing skills developed over a 15-year career in Business and Consumer sales and marketing, Nate is already proving himself to be a valuable asset to the SWS team. His goals for 2013 and beyond are to continue growing key SWS accounts, establish more strategic partnerships, and to drive new business through targeted marketing efforts.
