THE ISSUE

According to a national survey conducted by CareerBuilder, 70% of companies have added more environmentally conscious programs in the last year. Today’s culture shows we are all working together towards the successful future of our planet, experiencing the Green Movement from both the perspective of businesses and consumers. Across the country, companies are focusing on creating and implementing Green programs to make their workplace more environmentally conscious.

Green programs include:

1. Recycling (50 percent)
2. Using less paper (45 percent)
3. Controlling lighting (44 percent)
4. Powering down computers at the end of the day (30 percent)
5. Purchasing office supplies made from recycled materials (27 percent)
